We all know that being a real estate investor can make you feel like you are alone on a deserted island with Rosanne Barr - sometimes you feel you would rather sink than swim right?
Let me describe what I mean - I recently paid a lot of money to be part of a select group of business people - a mastermind group - and they talked about helping each other grow their businesses - but also about the feeling of family and friendship that they developed.
Being a volunteer firefighter I can understand how that bond can develop - but
I could not believe how fast that can occur in the business world.
Having someone Help you Succeed - while you help them.
Having someone to bounce Ideas off of when you are not sure what to do - and you can Respect their input - just as they respect yours.
Working with people Dedicated to bettering themselves - not some Wing-Nut who talks about all the deals they have done - just to find out they have never even looked at a house.
Someone to help push you off the sofa and down the road to success.
Here is what happened to me - I had just signed up and had the chance to get
to know several of the people who were members - sorry - I can't tell you who
because that is privileged information, but it is some of the top business builders in the world.
We networked this weekend and several ideas about how to run my real estate investing business were given to me that will slap a lot of dollars to my bottom line this year.
But here is where it all came together for me.
I was running late to the airport and had a chance to take a cab with 3 other people that have or can make a tremendous difference in my being Super Successful or being average.
I jumped at the chance and, remember this is in L.A. - I realized that I had forgotten
my briefcase with all of my notes from the weekend. All the contact information, the Action Items everything.
Trust me - I get the Wing-Nut Award this week for that.
Well, at the advice of one of the people you will all get to know in the near future, Carrie Wilkerson, I contacted Gerald Romine, you can see more information about him at

and he grabbed my bag and contacted a member of this exclusive Mastermind group I had just joined.
This member, the actual Vice-President of the group - jumped into a cab - brought me the bag and then went about to dash to his airplane.
Talk about teamwork! Talk about establishing a quick bond - there is very little I
would not do for these guys.
