By Yesterday, Sunday, I spent the day busting my rear hauling hose all over the hot pavement in our stations hot parking lot.
Now - as a real estate investor this was not my ideal project - at all.
BUT!!! As a real estate investor I know the importance of what I was doing.
You see - each year we have to test all of the hoses on every truck
to ensure there are not leaks or damage tot he hose - because it
would sure stink to be caught in a fire and find out you
are using something that is broke.
Side Note - I was working a fire last year - on the 2nd story with a
attic fire from a lightning strike when the overhang outside the
front door collapsed - it fell right on our hose and we were now
upstairs without water - not a fun feeling.
So yesterday my engine company and I were hauling hoses, doing pressure checks
and making sure what we have is working right.

We were able to back out of immediate area while another team brought us a
hose. They worked their way to us and carried 2 hoses at the same time - then together
